In the Goods of Robert Deefholts deceased, Will Filed and Probate granted to Robert Horatio Deefholts, Lewis Theodore Deefholts and Charles Frederick Deefholts the executors on the 18th day of September 1890 and issued this 26th day of November 1890 R. Belchambers Registrar In the name of God. Amen.
I Robert Deefholts residing at No 7 Emambaug 2nd Lane in the Town of Calcutta [...] desire that my Executors [...] will enter my remains in the Vault of my deceased father Frederick Deefholts in the Catholic Cathedral in Portuguese Church Lane in Calcutta [...] I will and desire that all my properties duly invested be held in trust during the lifetime of the following: My wife Rosalia; My sons Robert Horatio, Lewis Theodore, Charles Frederick; My daughters Elvira Caroline St Romaine, Henrietta Lumsden; and out of the income interest profits accruing from the money so invested as well as the earnings of my Water Filtering Boats, ten shares in the Great Eastern Hotel Company Limited and my Government Securities and rent of my houses No 7 Emambaug 2nd Lane, No 2 & 3 Goriahamah Lane in the Town of Calcutta and my properties in Chinsurah in the Hooghly district my said Executors shall and will provide my wife Rosalia with a reasonable and decent support [...] 1888

In the Goods of Lavinia Pulcheria Deefholts deceased Will Filed and Probate granted to R.H. Deefholts, J.A. Coutts and G.F. Coutts the executors on the 3rd and issued this 11th day of May 1904 W.R. Fink Registrar In the name of God. Amen.
I Lavinia Pulcheria Deefholts wife of Robert Horatio Deefholts of No. 17 Lower Chitpore Road being at present in fair health and in the perfect vigour of mind [...] I will and desire that my husband Robert Horatio Deefholts may draw and retain for his sole use and comfort revenues from or proceeds from the sale of [11/18 share which I own in the dwelling house No. 17 Lower Chitpore Road wherein I am at present residing which I have purchased conjointly with my brother Francis Herbert Coutts] during the term of his natural life I will and desire that after the demise of my husband the said Robert Horatio Deefholts the said property or investment be sold to the best advantage possible and be equally divided between my nephews and neices herein mentioned: Joseph Aloysius Coutts; Marie Edith Coutts; Gerald Francis Coutts; Emile Reginald Coutts; Alicia Bridget Coutts; Esther Claire Coutts; Ada Winifred Coutts and Edmond Cyril Mark Coutts I further will and desire that all the jewels which I die possessed of be after my demise divided amount the surviving children of my deceased sister Melenthia Rose Deefholts and my brother Francis H. In the Goods of Caroline Rose Deefholts deceased Will Filed and Probate granted to Joseph Edmond Deefholts and Elsie or Genevieve Deefholts the Executor and Executrix on the 24th May and issued 8th day of June 1904 W.R. Fink Registrar In the name of God. Amen.
This is my last Will and Testament of Caroline Rose Deefholts, widow of the late Edmond Alfred Deefholts at present residing at No. 18 Fordyce's Lane in the Town of Calcutta. I appoint my son Joseph Edmond Deefholts and my daughter E.G. Deefholts Executor and Executrix to my estate [...] all my debts first paid the balance (Cottage Piano to Dotty, the square one is Elsie's) of the money together with the outstanding is to be divided amongst Elsie, Eda and Dotty, but in the event of any of them getting married, her share is to go to the other two. The five hundred Rs Company's Paper is to be kept, in case any of my children getting out of employment and if in great distress - a little help to be given. Amy has received her share in full time of her marriage, the boys are all employed, hence they need nothing, they have got their parts of jewels and money.
